GAD can also cause restlessness or feelings of excitement or nervousness, feeling easily fatigued (tired), difficulty concentrating or going blank, irritability, muscle tension, or sleep disturbances. This is different from the stresses and strains of everyday life.

Pregabalin capsules and oral solution are also used to relieve neuropathic pain that can occur after a spinal cord injury and to treat fibromyalgia (a long-term condition that can cause pain, muscle stiffness and tenderness, tiredness, and difficulty falling or staying asleep). A prescription is required.
