Anticoagulants

The active ingredient in apixaban is a member of a group of medicines called anticoagulants. This medicine helps prevent blood clots by blocking Factor Xa, an important component of blood clotting.

It works by stopping the production of certain natural substances that cause fever, pain, inflammation, and blood clots. Aspirin is also available in combination with other medications such as antacids, pain relievers, and cough and cold medications.

Enoxaparin sodium is an anticoagulant indicated for the prevention and treatment of thromboembolic disorders. It is commonly presented in two-piece, 40 mg/0.4 ml prefilled syringes. If discomfort persists, consult your doctor.
